XXIX

Wonder why there is always this strange compulsion to blog on my birthday. I guess I am supposed to reflect on being a year older, my wishes for the coming year and all that stuff blah blah blah... but all I can think about at the moment is how to enjoy my last year in my twenties and how I am going to set about doing all those things that you are supposed to do before you hit the 'big three-oh' so to speak.

Getting your face on the telly always seems to appear on the list - for me, it would be to get my face on TVB. Maybe it was fate that I ended up planning a trip to Hong Kong this year. Now all I need to do is get my hands on some studio audience tickets for a TVB show in some shape or form, even if its "Pleasure and Leisure" ... I don't care! Muahahahaha.....

Well I have got married, that's a start. Not in Vegas, but not-so-sunny Bury is about the nearest I will get. Don't think I will bother with the divorce bit though, I am no Britney and I love my hubby too much! (puke all you like!)

I don't think my first million pounds is anywhere to be seen either. Will keep buying my weekly lottery ticket just in case the heavens are feeling generous. Won a tenner the other week - it's a start!

I'm too much of a coward for bungee jumping and I don't really drink, so getting totally pished and running naked in the street is also not for me. Give me a pint of hot tea and a warm duvet and a set of Raymond Lam series any day! Haha...

Despite much encouragement from the more senior members of my family and some of my 'eager to be called auntie' friends, no sprogs yet. If I am to get one in before I reach 30, then time is running out slightly. I'll leave that one to nature.

Get a promotion? I think I am more likely to win the lottery.......

Happy birthday to everyone who I share a birthday with!
