There's another trend lately to change the themes on everyone's blogs, so I tried and failed misterably at making some changes to this tonight, so I just fixed the problem with the width of the cartoon strip. Maybe it's cos I am not on my normal PC so it is upsetting the way I am looking at this interface. In any case I quite like the layout as it is, but change is good I guess. Lemon, white and ducks spring to mind - watch this space!
Things have been pretty busy lately, hence the silence over here.....can almost hear the echoes of my keyboard noises. Hahaha...
Been catching up with my "Virtues of Harmony" watching lately. Finally reached the bit where they introduce Hawick Lau - what a hottie! Pity he's taken (allegedly)... but then again so am I!

Have been instructed by Mui to watch him in "Hard Fate", so I guess I will start that tomorrow. I'm quite intrigued about this show though because it's supposed to be quite dark as far as TVB series go. Also been drooling over all the men in suits in "ICAC Investigations 2004" - FIVE EPISODES IS NOT ENOUGH! DO YOU HEAR ME ICAC AND TVB?
Must go and get an ice pack, I am starting to lose my cool....

Rosebud tea... I thought I'd try something different today on my quest to find the ultimate beverage. Interesting taste but it doesn't half linger in your throat. Discovered it in my local Chinese supermarket today and thought it looked familiar, then I realised where I had seen it before - it is mixed in with the slimming teas that are always advertised in the Chinese gossip mags. Checked the price and it is a fraction of what the slimming teas cost, so I thought I'd give it a try and see if it has the same effects. (Hey, I have nothing to lose apart from a few pounds off my belly...)
In case you're wondering, it looks like this:
Made the most of the great British sunshine yesterday after my hubby pestered me into having a mini barbecue in the back garden. It was nice, after all we don't get many sunny days in this country so it's nice to actually make use of that space behind the house that just lies dormant for 360 days of the year. You always seem to prepare so much more food than you need when you have a barbecue, so we ended up eating the same stuff today, but it was cooked indoors under the grill instead.
As it was sunny again today, I decided I ought to go and stretch my bones and joints, so I went for a wander around the shops. Really busy out and it seemed like everywhere was sold out of everything I wanted. Saw this really nice pink shirt that I wanted for work, but the only sizes left were 8's (I am not as slim as I used to be) or 18's (I'd die before I get to that size). Blast... so I got the blue one instead, to go with the wardrobe full of blue shirts I already own. Must stop buying blue shirts....
I also bought myself a 'Watercolours for Beginners' set.... goodness knows why. I get the feeling it will join my piccolo on top of my cupbard in preparation for retirement. Maybe then I will actually find the time to do these things!
Oh well back to work tomorrow, even though it's a public holiday. Need to work the extra hours to pay off the last holiday and start saving for the next....
